With my extensive knowledge and global network of trusted suppliers, I’m here to help turn your travel dreams into reality—whether you’re looking for a simple hotel booking or a meticulously crafted, bespoke itinerary.

The process of researching and putting together a customized proposal that matches your travel desires takes time. These travel planning fees cover the initial consultation and any ongoing discussions of your trip expectations; time spent researching, developing and revising the proposal(s); booking and managing all components; as well as providing support while you travel.

Because of the initial upfront time involved, a nonrefundable $250 trip planning deposit will be charged for all Caroline Travel itineraries. This goes toward the total travel planning fee on your final invoice. The total fee for a typical week long trip for 1 traveler, a couple or family in the American and Canadian West including Alaska is $500 and the fee for a typical two-week trip is $800, sometimes less. For travel experiences throughout the rest of the world, a $250 fee will be charged for my time in consulting and obtaining proposals from my trusted suppliers for your trip. In the event I work with a supplier or rental home agency that does not pay me a referral commission, the total fee will be equal to 7 – 10% of the total cost.

 If you hire Caroline Travel to assist you with creating your travel experiences, it is assumed that you are 100% ready to move forward with an itinerary that matches your needs and budget. If you are in the initial planning stages and are not sure your family can get away, please hold off on making the request until you know your exact dates or range of dates, have the destination(s) in mind, and know what your budget will be, if you have one.

My vendor relationships allow me to offer value-added amenities and VIP experiences to your hotel stays. For hotel-only bookings that require no additional consultation or travel planning services, I do not charge any booking or planning fees. If the hotel you book is part of the Virtuoso Portfolio, you’ll enjoy amenities such as upgrades (if available), spa or food and beverage credits, breakfast daily, VIP status and more.

When you book with us, you enjoy special privileges that are available only to Virtuoso clients, including:

I will research the best schedules and prices for your destinations and preferred dates. Once you agree to an option, I will assign seats, issue tickets and send you a confirmation.

For my time, I charge $50 dollars per person.
